Each school year starts off with a Marching Bang! Marching Band - The Marching Chieftains - is offered as a curricular class but spends a great deal of time outside of the school day in rehearsal. Attendance at the August band camp is required for participation in the fall. The marching band rehearses each day before school at 7:00 AM, and Monday evenings from 5:00-9:00 PM. The Marching Chieftains compete in five or six field competitions, two parades and play for all home football games.

The 2009-2010 marching show is entitled "Mount Everest" and features original music composed specifically for the Chieftains. Stay tuned for more information on this year's band. The show is certain to be entertaining and successful.
