Bellevue East

Band Council is an organization made up of elected leaders of the band who plan and organize events for all band members.  The goal of the Band Council is to create closer personal relationships and a heightened sense of teamwork.  The council is made up of six members, the President, the Vice-president, the Secretary/Treasurer, the Social Chair, the Librarian, and the Equipment Managers.

This year’s band council members are: Ben Petr, President; Marlaina Rahmlow, Vice-president; Remy Pepper, Secretary/Treasurer; Jace Procupek, Social Chair; Jordan Wnuk, Librarian; Steven Milos and Colin Gullickson, Equipment Managers.  The members of the Bellevue East Band vote for Band Council leaders at the end of each school year and each person runs for the office of their choice.

This year band council has hosted a successful ice cream social in July the Friday before band camp began.  They also hosted a pool party at the Lied Activity Center after band camp was complete.

The Band Council is planning many other activities for the rest of the year. We hope for an exciting year in band and a great band season.
