Star Fest - (Sioux City)
Starfest is a marching band competition held in Sioux City, IA hosted by Sioux City North High School at Elwood Olsen Stadium next to Morningside College. Starfest has drawn many renowned bands from Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Nebraska including bands that have consistently placed well in BOA regional competitions. The Starfest format includes a preliminary competition followed by a finals competition at night for the top ten scoring bands. All size classes of bands are welcome and are certainly wanted to attend.

Columbus Marching Invitational - (Columbus, NE)
The Columbus Marching Festival features both a parade and field competition with the parade beginning at 9:30a.m. and the Field Competition beginning at Noon. The field shows will be held at Memorial Stadium at Pawnee Park on a natural grass field. Trophies for superior and excellent rated shows are presented to each band according to Nebraska State Bandmaster Association guidelines along with awards for best percussion, color guard, drum major and a sweepstakes trophy. CMF features the full compliment of 8 judges according to NSBA guidelines along with two additional clinicians that provide each band with a 15 minute clinic following their performance.

Dutchmen Field Championship - (Orange City, IA)
The Dutchmen Field Championship will start at 4:00pm. Featuring bands from Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska, the show attracts great crowds to Korver Field (the first synthetic field turf field in northwest Iowa) on the campus of Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Bands compete in field competition in one of four classes. Classification is determined by Iowa High School Music Association guidelines (1A, 2A, 3A, 4A) and the event is sanctioned by the IHSMA.

Bands of America 2009 Championships - (St. Louis, MO)
Edward Jones Dome
